PlayIt Live requires an additional plugin to broadcast to Shoutcast or Icecast servers. Follow the steps below to set it up.
✅ 1. Download & Install
Install PlayIt Live from:
https://www.playitsoftware.com/Products/Live
✅ 2. Start PlayIt Live
Open the software after installation.
✅ 3. Open the Plugin Manager
✅ 4. Browse the Plugin Gallery
Click Browse plugins in the plugin gallery.
✅ 5. Install Internet Broadcast Plugin
Click Get For Free next to Internet Broadcast.
(You may need to log in to your PlayIt account.)
✅ 6. Plugin Installation Complete
You should now see this confirmation:
✅ 7. Configure Stream Output
You will now see Off Air and Start Streams buttons on the dashboard.
Click Off Air to configure your stream.
✅ 8. Set Audio Source & Add Stream
Set Audio source to broadcast to:
PlayIt Live Main Mix
Then click Add to create a new stream.
Fill in your stream details:
- Server Type: SHOUTcast / Icecast
- Server Address:

- Port:
{{port}}
- Password:
{{password}}
- Mount Point (Icecast only):
/{{mount}}
- Bitrate:
{{bitrate}}
✅ 9. Start Streaming
Click OK, then press Start Streams.
Your station should now be live.
